Chervil boasts delicate leaves with a mild liquorice flavour.
It’s perfect for bulking out a micro salad mix with extra colour and flavour, but is also great on it’s own. Goes particularly well with chicken, soups, fish and can be used to add extra flavour to buttery sauces.
NUTRITION VALUE Chervil is one of the Lenten herbs, thought to have blood-cleansing properties. Good source of vitamin C, iron, carotene and mangnesium.
